Do you really want to know us? At first sight you might have doubts because we are just a group of teenagers who have big hopes to save the Earth from pollution. Have you ever thought about the consequences of your actions when it comes to pollution, especially to plastic pollution, such as plastic bags in the ocean or cans at the beach?
The reason for asking this is we've done that a million times and everytime the result was the same: we need to find new ideas to reduce plastic pollution. The overuse of plastic worldwide, potentially harmfull for the environment calls for urgent measures. Consider, for exemple, raw material. This can include fossil fuels, industrial minerals, stones, earths and construction minerals. Wood or natural fibers and all organic substances of non-fossil origin fall under the umbrella term of renewable raw material.
A big problem was identified in food industry. Most foods need packaging and this leads to an enormous quantity of plastic, most of it inappropriately disposed. Sweets, in particular, reprezent a delicate issue. Talking this into account, we decided to focus on the production of enviromentally-friendly food packaging. This resulted in the creation of our biodegradable wrapping item, meant to succesfully replace the existing plastic ones.
